Description
- Thread with bidirectional barbs and a “pulling” system for a greater tensing effect.
- 23G needle with a specially polished tip and shaft for enhanced penetration. It takes 3-0 thread, suitable for working on thin skin.
- The thread gauge (3-0) allows it to fold over the needle, increasing the quantity of thread inserted, thereby increasing the regenerative effect. The part of the thread that protrudes from the needle is not barbed, which making it easy to insert the needle to the desired position.
- The bidirectional barbs facilitates increased fixation to surrounding tissue, preventing it becoming displaced once inserted and providing a greater tensing effect. While some barbs “lift” the tissue, others support and hold it. This pulling system allows manual traction of the thread and consequently an enhanced lifting effect.
